MAY 30th & JUNE 6th Digging Results

hole

Well the good news is that we have dug oh,.. about six or seven privies since our last story. The bad news is that we really haven't gotten very lucky with this last batch of outhouses. I guess the Bottle Gods are looking out for some other diggers now that we have already had our APR. 24th fortune!
We are starting to get some real bottle withdrawal symtoms. You know, looking at bottles on E-BAY more than usual, contemplating quiting work and bottle hunting full time, and fondling bottles you have had on your shelves already for years now. I have a feeling though we will be getting into something good real soon!

ONE OF THE MANY "BOTTLE POCKETS"

We found this pit a week ago and couldn't wait to dig it. We knew it was a deep one and that was intriguing because all the others in this town have been shallow.

ME

The pit never really panned out. There was a real nice Detroit embossed ammonia shaped bottle I can't remember the name of in it with a corner chipped off, a midget MASON, and other common stuff.

SLIM PICKINS

Oh yeah, todays results are; not much. We dug a pit behind an ancient Greek. Only two nice pieces in it and both broken. A really nice citron embossed pickle jar, and apple green Clover MASON jar.
We are ready and still fired up to find some nice bottles for all you readers out there.
THE BOTTLE GODS WILL BE SUMMONED!!
