APRIL 25th Digging Results

A few things up high in the fill, a DRUGGIST & PUMPKIN SEED FLASK.
I will date this pit right around the 1890's. I'm happy to be in non-machine made bottles anytime.
Something was starting to fight back pretty hard down in the hole as we opened it up wider. It was a huge rock that was rolled in from who knows where when the original occupants decided to fill this privy in.

OK,..what's the plan....?

This is a VERY rare cough syrup from KALAMAZOO MICHIGAN. Carl is getting excited and so am I! I wonder who is going to win this in the toss.
Here we are making our way AROUND this big 300+ pound stone.

Carl found these nice beauties on the bottom, a weird UK CODD SODA Groves & Whitnall Ltd Salford (yellow) & a cute cobalt mini Stafford Master INK mint.
There where actually several pits we dug all in the same location that day. They really produced a lot of blown pre-turn of the century glass. Something good for everybody.
I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE MADE THAT LEFT TURN BACK IN ALBUQUERQUE

Thanks again for stopping by and have a great night, Scott
